Cute Translation, based at Carrer la Llum, 17, 25005 Lleida, Spain, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact for any data-related question: support@cutetranslation.com.
When you request a quote, place an order, or contact us, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, and — for orders requiring delivery by post — a postal address. If you send us a document to translate, we collect the content of that document for the sole purpose of producing your translation.
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, process and deliver an order, and meet our own accounting and legal obligations. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering one) and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Where we use analytics cookies, the legal basis is your consent, given or withdrawn at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Any document you send for translation is used only to produce that translation. It is not published, shared with third parties beyond the linguists working on your order, or reused for any other purpose. We keep a copy only as long as necessary to deliver the order and answer any follow-up questions about it, then it is deleted.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are only set after you actively consent via the cookie banner; see our Cookie Policy for full detail on what's used and how to change your choice at any time. Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area, under Google's standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy framework.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. It is shared only with the linguists and reviewers working on your specific order, our hosting provider (to operate this website), and — where you've consented — Google, for analytics.
We keep enquiry and order data for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet our legal obligations, for example tax and accounting requirements, and no longer.
Under the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, you can ask us to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it if it's wrong; delete it; restrict how we use it; receive a copy in a portable format; and object to certain uses. You can also withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email support@cutetranslation.com.
If you believe we haven't handled your data correctly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), at www.aepd.es.
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
