These terms govern any quote, order, or service provided by Cute Translation, Carrer la Llum, 17, 25005 Lleida, Spain, to a private individual or business ("you").
Fixed-scope packages shown with a price and an "Add to cart" button can be ordered directly through the checkout on this site. Work outside that scope — large volumes, bespoke projects, ongoing arrangements — is quoted individually after you contact us; an order is confirmed once we've agreed the price, scope, and deadline with you in writing (email is sufficient).
All prices shown are in euros and include Spanish IVA at 21%, itemised separately at checkout. The final price for bespoke work is confirmed before any translation begins; it will not change afterward unless the scope of the work genuinely changes and we agree that with you first.
This site currently runs a demonstration checkout: no payment is taken and no card details are stored or transmitted. Once your order is placed, we confirm it and the payment method by email — by bank transfer or invoice, as agreed. Work begins once payment (or a payment arrangement) is confirmed, or immediately at your express request, as recorded at checkout.
Digital delivery is by email as standard. Certified post (within Spain or the EU) is available as a paid option at checkout for services that support it. Delivery estimates are indicative and confirmed for your specific order at the time of quoting or ordering.
You're responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any document or content you provide, and for telling us clearly what the translation is for (this matters especially for sworn/certified work, where the intended use affects what's needed). We're not responsible for errors that originate in the source material you provide.
Where you order a sworn translation, it is arranged through a traductor-intérprete jurado appointed by Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC); we manage the project, delivery, and formalities. We are not the sworn translator. Whether a specific authority, court, or institution ultimately accepts a translation — sworn, certified, or otherwise — is a decision made by that third party, not by us; where we know of a relevant requirement (such as an apostille), we'll tell you before you order.
Once an order is paid in full, the translated document is yours to use as you see fit. We retain no rights to the content of your source material.
As a consumer in Spain, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. Because our services are personalised work carried out at your request, once you ask us to begin (including by checking the express-start acknowledgement at checkout), this withdrawal right becomes limited to the portion of work not yet carried out — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full detail.
We're liable for the accuracy and quality of the translation work we deliver, produced and reviewed as described on How it works. We are not liable for how a third party (an embassy, court, university, employer, or other authority) chooses to treat an accepted, correctly delivered translation, nor for delays caused by circumstances outside our control.
If something isn't right, contact us first at support@cutetranslation.com or +34 973 72 10 20 — most issues are resolved directly. As an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute not resolved directly or through the ODR platform is subject to the courts of Lleida, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection venue rules that apply in your favour.
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published on this page, dated above.
